Free Bible Alert!

How to find God? The bible will tell you how and answer all your questions too. But don’t you have a bible yet? You want one for free? It is easy as 1-2-3.

When somebody says free. I am astounded to know what it is. Where the hell where I can find that free stuff? =P

When we say free, it means that it is given to you without waiting for something in return. You don’t deserve it but still, it is given to you. The thefreedictionary.com defines free as an able to act at will; not hampered; not under compulsion or restraint. It is easy to say that the one who offers you something for free do not hinder to give that something for free. It feels great when you have something for free.. and it already happened 2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ died on the cross of calvary to free us from the sin that we commit even though we omit and neglect him over and over again. The greatest gift that we already received is the salvation, and take note it is given to us for free! I completely disagree on the quote I read when I was surfing the web that says, ‘Nothing in the world is free’ because at the first place we received that free gift even before we conceded in our mother’s womb so it is futile to say that nothing in this world is free.

This particular site I will give to you, offers a free bible that will be delivered to your home fresh from Oklahoma City, USA. (props to my churchmate for giving the link)

Just visit the link above, fill-up the required information and badam it is being process for the delivery. I requested a bible before and it takes a month and a week when it’s finally came to our house. I already signed up my family too, and I get a total of 5 bibles for the whole household to read. The bible is a new living translation-new testament. It is not like the other bible because it has a lot of insight and answers to the most widely asked questions today.

Bibles for the whole household

Use this bible as a manual of your life, and meditate to the teachings and the knowledge of  His word that are relevant in our spiritual lives. It will help you to know more about God and to set down your foundation for your walk with Jesus Christ ahead. Received the greatest gift that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ-which is Salvation, and use this book whose words are inspired by Him. God bless you.

The grass withers

and the flowers fade,

but the word of our

God stands forever.

Before It’s Too Late

Woah! What happened? I didn’t get able to update my blog since the last time I posted my last blog entry regarding to the Cybercrime Law (which is in the process of revision, *evil laugh*-kidding!). I’ve been busy again this past few weeks, I don’t know what made me so busy. Well, the first semester is finally over, hello sembreak. Yey!

Last night, I read a book which helps me a lot in realizing my situation from this moment. The book is entitled: Before it’s Too Late, from the best seller-author, Pastor Ed Lapiz. I think this is published a couple of years ago so it is not the latest book he offer but it is a must-read book for those who believe and also to the non-believer of Jesus Christ.

In the middle part of that mini book, he discussed the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The story illustrates two different people; first is the rich man, who is living in luxury every day and the other one is Lazarus, a laid beggar, waiting for the food that fells on the ground from the rich man’s table. They both died, Lazarus carried by the angels to bring him in Abraham’s side, while the rich man ends up in hell. There were two reversals, the rich man became the beggar and the beggar became the rich man. Honestly speaking, it is not that: “Kaya napunta yung rich man sa hell kasi mayaman siya or vice versa sa part ni Lazarus.”

Then the rich man called Abraham to send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool his tongue for a while-imagine how hard and difficult to stay in that place called hell. Abraham replied to him and said: ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ In reality, regrets are felt when it’s just too late. God gave us a time to change, to live in His word, and to believe in Him but we disregard Him; we did not offer our time to meditate in His word. Afterwards, the rich man begs Abraham to send Lazarus in his father house to warn his five brothers, so that they will not also suffer in that place. And Abraham replied, they have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.

I ask myself? Is my family are safe enough to enter the Kingdom of God? How about my relatives? My classmates? My friends? Myself? I believe in Jesus Christ, I accept Him as my savior, and I offer and gave my life to Him.. but it is good enough? Hmm.

My viewpoint:

I have an attitude that if I don’t like your personality, I will not talk to you, it’s up to you if you want to be my friend. Then I realized that, how can I execute Jesus teachings: “Go and make disciple!”, if I am afraid to the people around me, to the world. I‘m still in my comfort zone and it’s hard to get out from it.

In my situation, my fears overcome my faith:

Ay, di ko she-sheran yan kasi maarte yan.’

‘Ay ayoko diyan, atheist naman yan eh.’

Every willing heart will find a reason to obey God and teach people salvation. Every unwilling heart finds an excuse. So if you’re giving just an excuse, it only means that you are not willing. Preach salvation. That’s what we Christians are living for. Preach the gospel or the good news. (Ed Lapiz)

It is now or never. We must win souls.. Before it’s too late!
